Mandi C. Mathis
Mandi C. Mathis is a native of Eastman, Georgia. Prior to Cowsert Heath, LLP, she interned at U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia with Honorable Duross Fitzptrick and Honorable C. Ashley Royal, at which time she had the opportunity to help Judge Royal update his “Medical Torts in Georgia: A Handbook on State and Federal Law 2006 Edition;” with Oconee Judicial Circuit District Attorney Timothy Vaughn; and with U.S. Senator Zell Miller. She was previously a law clerk for Superior Court of Georgia Alcovy Judicial Circuit Honorable Eugene M. Benton.
She has two sons, Tyson, 9, and Sawyer, 7. She is a published author of the children’s book “The Littlest Inventor” which was inspired by her son Sawyer’s struggles and accomplishments as a child on the autism spectrum.
